spring cleaning

Spring has definitely sprung. And along with it, so have my allergies and the desire to change things up a bit. Instead of doing something a bit more drastic (read: I have puppy fever and have been feeling a bit haircut happy), I decided that a new blog design might hold me off for awhile.

I'm taking creative liberties and playing mix and match with some HTML code from various blog templates that I have grown attached to. Plus, I've learned some uber-interesting things about Photobucket (a blogger's best friend!) and how this can be used to make backgrounds and such. 

We'll see what grows out of this crazy whim. In the meantime, please bear with me as my page is officially "under construction". Then again, this whole idea might pass as quickly as a spring storm...we'll see how much damage is actually done when it's all over with.

UPDATE: Okay, so who wants to start the betting pool as to when this all winds up back at square one?
